FENDI MEN'S FALL WINTER

MILANO

In the Fendi Men's Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show, to accompany the coats, the hand-painted shearling jackets in aged leather, the long down jackets in plongé leather, the hand-woven cashmere bags stuffed with cashmere blankets and the crocodile boots with Cuban heel, Nico Vascellari had his winding airways built above the catwalk carrying silver pinball balls in a mesmerizing show that accompanies and at the same time plays with the volumes and ironic asymmetries of Silvia Venturini Fendi.

Also this time, as already happened in 2019 for the Spring Summer men's collection, Fendi has decided to rely on the Italian artist Nico Vascellari who took care of the design of the work. Alongside him, as far as production is concerned, we find the Bureau Betak studio, the Parisian studio, founded by Alexandre de Betak, that is behind some of the most spectacular fashion shows of the last 25 years and that sets up spectacular, iconic, audacious, and sometimes inaccessible locations.

The installation is made up of a metal work that starts above the audience and reaches the center of the catwalk, remaining suspended in the air with the models who walk around it as they parade. Furthermore, for the entire duration of the fashion show, a Fendi-branded ball continued to run on the large metal runners, accompanying the models, who walk the catwalk to the music of Giorgio Moroder.
