MTV EMA 2022

DUSSELDORF

The 29th edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards has just ended, and for that occasion Florian Wieder and Wieder Design, with Cuno von Hahn, designed this magnificent stage inside the ISS Dome in Dusseldorf.

The cross configuration appears to be held by the hands of an avatar, whose big head is visible above the main stage. The central platform, which starts from the main stage, ends with a square stage in the center of the arena, while the transversal corridor, that runs through it, connects it to the guests and nominees area.

In addition to the big led wall behind the main stage, and the semi-transparent area for the visuals in front of it, the entire floor of the platform acts as a led screen that interacts with the artists' performances.

"An exciting moment is when the shows starts, when the artists take the stage and the lights begin to flash and everything comes togheter. This usually gives me goosebumps"
