BORN TO BEO CONCERT
BANGKOK - THAILAND
In the last weeks, Nanon Born to Beo concert held at the Thunder Dome Arena in Bangkok.
The stage was designed to reference the shape of a 3 point star. The design featuring three triangle stage decks form a shape of star, two as left and right wing for band members and dancers to perform, and one triangle in the middle as thrust and served as a main performance area.
Lighting and production director Peem Poolpol from Saturate Designs works closely with Nanon to design and create lighting and visual direction for most of the key elements of the show.
The star's catwalk features a grated stage deck with lighting and special effects under the stage such as CO2 Jets, Foggers, and Flames. Over the stage features a large custom triangle lighting mothership pod built with F54 truss. The custom lighting pod features 50 units of Chauvet Color Strike-M and 40 units of LIGHTSKY F230II Beams were placed inside the truss giving a nice industrial look. 200 meters of ELATION Pixel Bar 40 Led strip also added to the outer frame of the truss adding the eye candy feature to the rig. Inside the mothership were 62 units of the Elation Chorus Line placed along the depth of the stage as the keylight.
On the upstage were three 6 meters by 9 meters Vanish Led screen 2 as an IMAGE and one center screen for the main visuals element with a sliding track system for the opening scene. The stage design team made the decision together with the lighting designer to go ahead with vanish led's to be able to have lighting from the back of the screen, this perfectly matched with lighting under the grated stage.
A huge set design for a powerful show of the thai pop star Nanon.
